John T . Edwards, PhD, was an approved supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and has conducted and supervised family therapy for over 30 years. John served as director of counseling in a family health center, clinical director of an inpatient family care program, private practitioner in marriage and family therapy, and co-founder of a learning center for family therapy. John conducted over a thousand workshop and trainings in family therapy, treating chemically dependent families in the USA and Canada. He is the author of Treating Chemically Dependent Families: A Practical Systems Approach for Professionals. Hazelton (1990)
